The Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Prof. Oluwatoyin Enikuomehin has led a six-man team of the DICT to train members of staff of the Lagos State University College of Medicine, LASUCOM on the effective management of the digital initiative for promotion of staff of the college.

The DICT team, during the exercise, provided hands-on support in a training session to ensure a smooth and efficient promotion process for staff seeking career advancement and to guide the accurate uploading of student data.
The digital staff promotion initiative, a trailblazing effort pioneered by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has revolutionised the staff promotion process since its introduction a few years ago.
By leveraging technology, the initiative streamlines evaluations enhances transparency, and ensures accuracy in handling promotions and academic records.
The return of Prof. Enikuomehin and his team to LASUCOM, after previous training exercises, underscores the university’s commitment to sustaining this innovative system.
During the visit, the ICT team worked closely with LASUCOM staff, offering technical expertise to navigate the digital platform and troubleshoot challenges.
Their efforts ensured that promotion applications were processed seamlessly and that student data was uploaded accurately, further strengthening the college’s administrative efficiency.
