Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has been warmly received by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the Presidential Villa during a courtesy visit.
The meeting, described as cordial and celebratory, marked a reunion between two long-standing friends of over 22 years.
President Tinubu reportedly expressed his delight at seeing Governor Soludo and personally congratulated him on his resounding victory in the recently concluded Anambra gubernatorial election, where Soludo secured 73% of the votes cast, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Governor Soludo’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, noted that the visit underscored the enduring friendship and shared progressive vision between the President and the Governor.
Both leaders have, on numerous occasions, committed to collaborating in the interest of the people, reinforcing their alignment on development and governance initiatives.
President Tinubu had earlier issued a congratulatory message to Governor Soludo immediately after the election results were announced, celebrating the governor’s decisive win. The Villa visit further cemented the bond between the two leaders and highlighted their mutual commitment to serving the public.
