UNILAG DLI Honours Overall Best Graduating Student, Fadipe Sakiru Olanrewaju

The Distance Learning Institute, DLI, University of Lagos, UNILAG, has celebrated Mr. Fadipe Sakiru Olanrewaju as its Overall Best Graduating Student for the 2024/2025 academic session at the University’s 56th Convocation Ceremonies.

Mr. Fadipe, who graduated with an outstanding CGPA of 4.87 in Accounting, hails from Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State. A Direct Entry student, he commenced his B.Sc. Accounting programme at the 300 level in the 2021/2022 session and completed his studies in the 2024/2025 session.

His academic excellence builds on an impressive educational background, having graduated with Distinction in both his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes. He is also a beneficiary of an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) scholarship and qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2020.

Professionally, Mr. Fadipe serves as Finance Coordinator at Tenax Marine Limited, a marine logistics company based in Lekki, Lagos, where he is noted for strong financial management and regulatory compliance.

The Director of the Distance Learning Institute, Professor Risikat Dauda, alongside staff of the Institute, commended Mr. Fadipe for his diligence, discipline, and exemplary conduct, describing him as a worthy ambassador of the Institute. The DLI wished him continued success in his academic and professional pursuits.
