Wema Bank Unveils 21 Finalists for Hackaholics 7.0 Grand Finale

Twenty-one startup teams and innovators will compete for recognition at the grand finale of Wema Bank’s Hackaholics 7.0 initiative on Friday, November 6, 2026, in Lagos, following a nationwide search for technology-driven solutions.

The finalists were selected from 5,329 participants who took part in the seventh edition of the bank’s innovation programme, which generated 1,632 ideas and solutions across seven pitch centres.

The finalists are Dynalimb, Harthiq, Acceede, Vhorde, URI, Trarrk, SocialSign, RaverPay, All-Arbitrates, CitizensGage, Craft-Planet, FOID, PayByPalm, Niteonn, Nexa-AI, Neural-Forge, MamaAlert, JolliFlow, Becca, CropiQ and Middleman.

The grand finale, themed “Festival of the Future,” will bring together innovators, technology leaders, startup founders, investors and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem.

The 7th edition, which began on July 1, attracted participants from Uyo, Kano, YabaTech, Benin, Ibadan, Enugu and Lagos. Following the nationwide pitch sessions, 59 participants advanced from the various centres before the final 21 were selected through a multi-stage evaluation process.

Activities leading up to the finale include a Pre-Pitch session on Wednesday, November 4, where finalists will present refined versions of their solutions, and an Ecosystem Tour on Thursday, November 5, to expose participants to leading technology and innovation institutions and industry professionals.

The programme will culminate in the November 6 finale, where outstanding innovators will be recognised.

Hackaholics is Wema Bank’s youth and startup-focused initiative aimed at helping innovators turn technology-driven ideas into practical solutions to real-world challenges.

Since its launch in 2019, the programme has attracted more than 21,000 applicants, engaged over 50,000 participants, supported more than 10,000 startups across three countries and developed over 100 solutions from scratch.

Wema Bank said the initiative reflects its commitment to identifying emerging talent, supporting young innovators and strengthening Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem.
