LSSTF Presents Three Operational Vehicles to RRS, Hails Proactive Policing

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, has presented three brand new operational vehicles to the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, Lagos, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security operations across the state.

The presentation took place on Friday, January 16, 2026, when the RRS Commander, CSP Shola Jejeloye, paid a courtesy visit to the LSSTF headquarters. Dr. Ogunsan said the gesture reflects LSSTF’s sustained commitment to providing critical logistics and infrastructure to security agencies in Lagos.

CSP Jejeloye expressed appreciation for the support, describing it as vital to the RRS’s operational effectiveness and rapid response capability. He also appealed for the repair, refurbishment, and rebranding of existing RRS vehicles to further enhance visibility and efficiency.

Responding, Dr. Ogunsan commended the RRS for its professionalism and impact on public safety, describing the unit as a key pillar of Lagos State’s security architecture. He assured the Commander that the request for vehicle refurbishment would be considered and disclosed plans to explore capacity-building programmes aimed at improving policing standards and public perception.

Dr. Ogunsan also praised CSP Jejeloye’s leadership style and commitment to best practices, pledging continued collaboration and support.

Members of the RRS delegation included ASP Oladele Ajayi, ASP Dipo Olurinde, and Osunmirem Sunday. Also present were the LSSTF Director of Administration, Mr. Degbola Lewis, and the Executive Assistant, Mrs. Adaobi Nwankwo.
