Ogun Police to Conduct Shooting Range Exercise for Recruits

The Ogun State Police Command has announced that a shooting range exercise for recruit constables will be held on Thursday, 14 August 2025, at the 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Alamala, Abeokuta.

In a statement, the Command advised residents and commuters in and around the area to steer clear of marked zones during the exercise, assuring the public that strict safety measures have been put in place.

While noting that the training will involve multiple gunshot sounds, the police urged residents not to panic as the exercise is aimed at boosting the operational readiness of officers.

The statement further appealed for public cooperation and thanked residents for their understanding as the training is carried out.
