FirstBank to Host 2025 Agric, Export Conference, Focuses on Non-Oil Economy Growth

FirstBank has announced that the 2025 edition of its Agric and Export Conference will hold on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.

Themed “The Fundamentals of Building a Non-Oil Export Driven Economy”, the event underscores the Bank’s commitment to boosting Nigeria’s agricultural and non-oil export sectors as drivers of sustainable economic growth.

The hybrid conference will feature exhibition booths, keynote speeches, plenary discussions, and technical sessions by experts in the agriculture and export value chain.

Stakeholders from across Nigeria and beyond will have the opportunity to connect, share insights, and explore strategies for enhancing competitiveness in the global market.

Keynote speaker, Senator Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Agriculture & Food Security, will be joined by prominent industry leaders, including Mr. Jafar Abubakar Umar, MD Bank of Agriculture; Mr. Abba Bello, MD/CEO Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM); Mr. Segun Awolowo of the National Action Committee on AfCFTA; Architect Kabir Ibrahim, President, All Farmers Association of Nigeria; and Mrs. Nonye Ayeni, CEO Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC).
