SUNU Health Nigeria Limited has received the Healthcare Financing and Health Insurance Excellence Award at the Nigerian Professional Excellence Awards 2026.
This is as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Moyosore Olomola, was named among the Top 100 Nigerian Professionals for 2026.
The awards were presented at a gala dinner held on October 3 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
SUNU Health said the corporate award recognised its work in expanding access to healthcare, promoting preventive health awareness, advancing insurance inclusion and improving customer experience through digital solutions.
Olomola’s recognition was attributed to his leadership and contributions to corporate governance and sustainable healthcare financing in Nigeria.
Reacting to the awards, Olomola said the recognition reflected the collective efforts of the company’s staff and the trust of its clients, enrollees, healthcare providers and partners.
He said the company would continue to pursue solutions aimed at expanding access to quality healthcare and strengthening healthcare financing.
Samuel Olayemi, Lead, Brand and Corporate Communications at SUNU Health, said the award reinforced the organisation’s focus on making health insurance more accessible and dependable, while strengthening its network of healthcare providers.
