Operatives of the Anti-Robbery Squad of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested Adenekan Segun, also known as “Expensive,” in connection with illegal possession of firearms.
The arrest followed credible intelligence that Segun had brandished weapons during a minor dispute.
The operation, carried out on Sunday, 14th December 2025, led to the recovery of two pump-action rifles.
The police are currently investigating the source of the firearms, and Segun is expected to be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo commended the swift action of the operatives and reaffirmed the Command’s zero-tolerance stance on armed robbery and illegal firearms possession.
He urged residents to continue providing credible information to the police to maintain peace in Ogun State.
