…..As Mrs. Rianat ‘Jibike Onigbanjo Reaffirms Commitment to Efficiency, Collaboration.
The Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, MWAPA has held its first management meeting with the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Rianat ‘Jibike Onigbanjo, marking a significant transition in the leadership of the Ministry.
The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Bolaji Cecilia, officially welcomed the Permanent Secretary, offering prayers for divine guidance in her new role.
She further encouraged the management and staff of the ministry to extend the same level of cooperation and dedication to Mrs. Onigbanjo as they did to her predecessor, ensuring a smooth and productive working relationship.
In her response, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Rianat ‘Jibike Onigbanjo, expressed her profound gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner and the entire MWAPA staff for the warm reception.

She reaffirmed her commitment to an open-door policy, fostering inclusiveness, efficiency and collaboration. Mrs. Onigbanjo also conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for entrusting her with this esteemed responsibility.
Following the reception, a management meeting was convened, during which heads of departments and units briefed the Permanent Secretary on their respective job schedules, ongoing projects, and key operational strategies.
The meeting provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions aimed at enhancing the ministry’s effectiveness in delivering on its mandate.
The Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering women and alleviating poverty across Lagos State.
