LNSA Distributes HP All-in-One Systems to 57 Commands

The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, has charged intelligence officers of the Agency to uphold diligence, accuracy, and credibility in their operations.

Prince Oyekan gave the charge during the official distribution of HP All-in-One desktop systems to the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Area (LGA/LCDA) Commands at the Agency’s Headquarters in Lagos.

He explained that the equipment form part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and strengthen its information management system, especially during the ember months and beyond.

“These systems are vital intelligence-gathering tools designed to improve the quality and speed of data processing across all our commands,” he stated.

The General Manager emphasized that effective intelligence work must be based on verified facts, not assumptions.

“Officers must avoid uncertain phrases such as ‘I think,’ ‘I’m not sure,’ or ‘It seems.’ Intelligence gathering goes beyond guesswork; it’s about depth, precision, and credible information,” he said.

Reiterating the importance of content and substance in intelligence reporting, Prince Oyekan noted:

“If you don’t have content, what do you want to write? Intelligence officers must be proactive, responsible, and results-driven to achieve the Agency’s mandate of ensuring safety across Lagos communities.”

He expressed appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, for his unwavering support to security initiatives and reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to the state’s growing reputation for safety and order.
