LASG Reaffirms Support for Cultural Preservation at African Church Harvest

The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to preserving and promoting cultural heritage in the state.

Represented by Mrs. Olajumoke James, a Deputy Director in the Ministry, the Commissioner made this known at the 2025 Cultural/Interstate Harvest of the African Church Arch Cathedral Bethel, Marina, Lagos, held on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Themed “Harvest of Fruitful Labour,” the event brought together worshippers and guests from across the country to celebrate cultural values and community development through music, dance, and thanksgiving.

Benson-Awoyinka emphasized the importance of such gatherings in reinforcing unity, spiritual growth, and cultural identity among Lagosians.

She added that the Ministry will continue to support initiatives that reflect the rich cultural tapestry of the state.
