Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has called on Parents and Guardians whose wards or candidates participated in the Model Colleges CBT Examinations Screening Test to disregard any publication that cut-off marks required for any of the Lagos State Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools has been released.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite who made the call, described the publication as fictitious and fraudulent, purported that candidates who scored the required cut-off marks of 50% at any of the State’s Model Colleges/Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools will be offered merit admission upon decision by the Examinations Board.
The Ministry state unequivocally that the purported publication / information is fake, fraudulent and did not emanate from the State Government or any of its Agencies.
The Permanent Secretary also advised those seeking admission into the State’s Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools to watch out for Official Announcement from appropriate quarters of the State Government.
She warned Parents and Guardians to be wary of fraudsters and impostors, as Lagos State does not engage in clandestine admission process into these Schools.
