Hon. Aruwe Receives Certificate of Return as Mushin LG Chairman

Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe has officially received his Certificate of Return as the newly elected Chairman of Mushin Local Government from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC.

The presentation ceremony, held at the LASIEC Headquarters in Sabo, Yaba, marked a pivotal moment in the democratic process and signaled a peaceful transition of leadership. Hon. Aruwe is set to take over from the outgoing Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, in a gesture described as symbolic of trust, continuity, and responsibility.

Joined by other elected Chairmen from the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State, Aruwe’s certification was not only a validation of the people’s mandate but also a celebration of renewed leadership across the state.

Speaking after the presentation, Hon. Aruwe expressed gratitude to God, the people of Mushin, and his predecessor for the opportunity to serve. He pledged to build on the progress made and work towards elevating the local government to greater heights.

“I am honoured and humbled by this responsibility. With the support of our people and the legacy of effective leadership laid down by my predecessor, we are poised to usher in a new era of growth and development in Mushin,” Aruwe said.

The event highlighted the commitment of LASIEC to uphold democratic values and ensure a seamless electoral process in Lagos State.
