Ecobank Nigeria has launched Scaling Up!!!, a business-focused podcast designed to inspire and equip entrepreneurs, founders and business leaders with practical insights from some of Africa’s most accomplished entrepreneurs.
The podcast, which will be available on Ecobank Nigeria’s YouTube channel and other major streaming platforms, is part of the bank’s efforts to support businesses beyond traditional banking services by providing a platform for knowledge sharing and entrepreneurial development.
According to the bank, the podcast features conversations on entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, resilience and business growth, offering lessons from successful founders, creatives and industry leaders across different sectors.
The inaugural season features guests including Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Beauty by AD, Adeola Adeyemi (Diiadem); filmmaker and Founder of Golden Effects Pictures, Kunle Afolayan; music producer and Founder of Coded Tunes, ID Cabasa; fashion entrepreneur Ejiro Amos Tafiri; commercial photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke; Co-founder and Lead Interior Designer of Siriano Limited, Adewunmi Adegbola; and Founder of Windsor Gallery and Nahous Creative Hub, Richard Vedelago.
Speaking on the launch, Ecobank Nigeria’s Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Austen Osokpor, said the initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs through knowledge sharing.
He said the platform enables business owners to learn directly from individuals who have successfully built sustainable enterprises, adding that it reinforces the bank’s support for entrepreneurship, innovation and economic growth across Africa.
Also speaking, the bank’s Head of SMEs, Partnerships and Collaborations, Omoboye Odu, said entrepreneurs often learn best from the experiences of those who have successfully navigated the business environment.
She noted that the podcast provides practical insights and inspiration that will help founders make informed business decisions, overcome challenges and unlock new growth opportunities.
Producer of the podcast, Jemimah Ugiagbe, said Scaling Up!!! was created to provide authentic conversations that reveal the realities behind entrepreneurial success.
According to her, each episode explores the setbacks, resilience, bold decisions and lessons that shaped the guests’ business journeys, with the aim of informing and inspiring listeners.
Ecobank said the initiative further strengthens its position as a partner to entrepreneurs by extending support beyond financial services through a platform that promotes enterprise development, innovation and sustainable economic growth.
