The University of Lagos Management has approved that the option of deferment of admission be made available to Direct Entry (DE) candidates under the 2023/2024 admission exercise, who are yet to be cleared and approved for admission by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
In a statement by the Head, UNILAG Communication Unit, the Institution said the compulsory requirement for deferment of admission is that: a candidate must have registered, paid his/her fees and obtained a matriculation number.
“Kindly note that the compulsory requirement for deferment of admission is that: a candidate must have registered, paid his/her fees and obtained a matriculation number. Due to this requirement, DE candidates yet to be cleared by JAMB are unable to defer their admission.
The statement added that to this effect, affected candidates will be registered and assigned matriculation numbers once JAMB clears and approves their admission.
