Thinkmint Nigeria has announced plans to host the sixth edition of the Real Estate Discussions & Awards, REDA, one of Africa’s premier platforms for advancing conversations, innovations, and investments in the property sector.
The two-day event, with the theme; “Back to the Basics – The Future of Real Estate”, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 21, and Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
According to the organisers, REDA 2025 will convene developers, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the continent for transformative conversations, exhibitions, and high-level networking opportunities designed to reshape Africa’s real estate landscape.
The event will feature keynote addresses, masterclasses, panel discussions, and exhibitions spotlighting opportunities and innovations across the real estate value chain.
A key highlight of the programme will be the prestigious REDA Awards, which recognise excellence and innovation within Africa’s property ecosystem. This year’s keynote speakers include Dr. Armstrong Takang, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated, and Engr. Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development.
They will be joined by a distinguished lineup of policymakers, corporate executives, and experts who will share insights on funding, investment, policy reforms, and the evolving dynamics of retail, commercial, and residential real estate.
Other confirmed speakers include Dr. Olajide Abiodun Babatunde, Special Adviser to the Governor on E-GIS and Urban Development; Engr. With an expected attendance of over 500 participants and more than 40 industry experts, REDA 2025 is projected to be one of the most influential gatherings in Africa’s real estate sector. The event will also showcase an exhibition of innovative projects and services, exclusive networking receptions, and masterclasses on investment, technology, and market growth.
