Project SheEnabled: EGO Foundation Conducts Another Training in Kaduna State

EGO Foundation has conducted the second phase of its latest project in Kaduna state,codenamed: “SheEnabled”.

The project which is dedicated to fostering economic empowerment among women entrepreneurs by EGO Foundation has long been recognized as a trailblazer in advocating for women’s economic rights and opportunities across Nigeria.

In this phase of the project, the Foundation took the train of its intervention to Romi-Kaduna, a vibrant community brimming with entrepreneurial potential.

Recognizing the importance of tailored interventions, Project SheEnabled has been meticulously designed to meet the specific needs and aspirations of women entrepreneurs in this locale.

Executive Director of EGO Foundation, Toluwase Olaniyan applauded the women for turning up in multitudes, while emphasizing the organization’s unwavering commitment to empowering women from diverse backgrounds.

“At EGO Foundation, empowering women is one of our core beliefs and we believe that through the empowerment of women, we are indeed investing strategically into the future of our communities,” he stated.

“Project SheEnabled epitomizes our dedication to providing women entrepreneurs in Kaduna with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.”

The project in its second phase trained over 1000 women in core financial management topics such as effective bookkeeping, access to funding, social media marketing and a lot more.

EGO Foundation has a vision to create tangible pathways for women’s economic advancement by consistently spearheading impactful initiatives aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by women in accessing opportunities for growth and development in various communities.

The organization partnered with key stakeholders such as Access Bank, Worden HCD and Truecaller and had enlightening discussions centered around practical strategies to enhance financial management skills and facilitating access to funding opportunities.

The aim is to empower women to leverage financial resources effectively, thereby driving sustainable economic growth within the community.

The event was marked by a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose, with participants expressing optimism about the transformative potential of Project SheEnabled.
