The Police Service Commission,PSC in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, has scheduled April 28 to 30, 2026, for the written examination of applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables.
The examination will be conducted across designated centres in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening eligible to participate.
Qualified applicants are required to log on to the official recruitment portal from April 24, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains details of their specific date, time, and venue.
Candidates are expected to come along with a pen, their National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission, and the printed examination slip. The approved dress code for the exercise is white shorts, a white T-shirt, and white canvas.
The Commission reiterated that the recruitment process is free of charge and cautioned applicants against falling victim to job racketeering or paying money to individuals promising assistance.
It warned that any form of fraud or financial inducement linked to the recruitment exercise would be treated in accordance with the law.
