Ojajuni, Immigration Comptroller Strengthen Security Collaboration in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command and the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS have reaffirmed their commitment to stronger interagency collaboration, intelligence sharing and joint security operations across the state.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, made the commitment when he received the Comptroller of the NIS, Ogun State Command, CIS Ganiyu Oladele, and members of his entourage on a courtesy visit to the Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Oladele expressed appreciation to Ojajuni for the reception accorded him and his delegation, while commending the police commissioner’s leadership and the achievements recorded by the Ogun State Police Command since he assumed office.

The Immigration Comptroller stressed the importance of seamless cooperation between the NIS and the Nigeria Police Force, noting that proactive intelligence sharing and joint vigilance were essential to safeguarding internal security and border integrity.

Responding, Ojajuni welcomed Oladele and his team and said effective security governance depended on strong interagency partnerships.

He reiterated the Command’s readiness to sustain a cordial working relationship with the NIS to promote public safety and peace across Ogun State.

Ojajuni also wished Oladele a successful and impactful tenure, assuring him of the Command’s continuous support towards achieving their shared national security objectives.
