The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has been named among 45 distinguished Nigerians to be honoured at the 45th anniversary of the National Association of Nigerian Students.
The event is scheduled to hold on April 17, 2026, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel and is expected to attract prominent personalities from across the country.
Olatunji-Bello’s recognition, according to organisers, underscores her commitment to student welfare and her inclusive leadership style, which has earned her widespread commendation within academic and student communities.
In a letter signed by the NANS National President, Olushola Oladoja, the association stated that the honour is in appreciation of the Vice-Chancellor’s unwavering support for the student body and her contributions to advancing student interests nationwide.
The anniversary celebration will feature awards to individuals who have demonstrated significant impact in supporting education and student development in Nigeria.
