The Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF has donated an operational vehicle to the Lagos State Command of Man O’ War Nigeria, reaffirming its commitment to community-based security and youth development.
The donation is aimed at enhancing the operational capacity of the volunteer group, which plays a key role in maintaining peace, order, and public safety across Lagos.
The vehicle was presented by the Director of Administration of LSSTF, Degbola Lewis, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Ayo Ogunsan.
Speaking at the presentation, Lewis reiterated the Fund’s commitment to supporting credible youth-focused organisations and other security support agencies whose activities contribute to community safety and emergency response efforts.
He noted that organisations such as Man O’ War play a vital role in complementing formal security agencies, particularly at the grassroots level.
The vehicle was received by the State Commander of Man O’ War Lagos, Lucky William Onimowo, who expressed appreciation for the support and pledged continued commitment to service.
The LSSTF stated that the gesture is part of its broader strategy to strengthen collaboration with voluntary and paramilitary groups, while promoting discipline, civic responsibility, and effective community policing across the state.
