The Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF has donated bulletproof vests and helmets to the Marine Police to enhance their safety in high-risk situations while safeguarding the state’s coastal areas and waterways from criminal activities.
This donation underscores LSSTF’s commitment to equipping law enforcement agencies with the necessary protective gear to ensure their security as they confront various challenges in the line of duty.
The presentation was made by the Admin Director of LSSTF, Mr. Adegbola Lewis to DSP Godwin Haruna of the Marine Police, Lagos State Command.
The provided protective gear is expected to significantly improve the officers’ confidence and effectiveness in performing their critical responsibilities in maintaining safety and security along Lagos’ extensive waterways.
