LNSA Commends Societal Concerns Organization for Security Seminar

The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA has commended the Societal Concerns Organization for organising a security and intelligence seminar aimed at strengthening capacity and enhancing public safety.

The seminar focused on community-based security strategies and the application of drone technology for intelligence gathering, surveillance, and rapid response. Other key areas addressed included risk assessment, inter-agency collaboration, and the integration of modern technology into traditional security operations.

Speaking after the programme, the General Manager of LNSA, Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, expressed appreciation to the organisers, describing the seminar as insightful and impactful.

He noted that the knowledge acquired would significantly enhance the agency’s operational effectiveness and service delivery.

“By equipping officers with both community engagement skills and technological capabilities, the initiative promotes a holistic approach to safety, combining boots on the ground with eyes in the sky,” he said.

Oyekan reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to leveraging community participation alongside advanced technology in safeguarding lives and property across Lagos.

The LNSA said the engagement underscores the importance of partnerships and continuous training in addressing evolving security challenges in the state and beyond.
