The Lagos State University delegates have been highly commended and honoured at the maiden edition of the Transport Research Conference (ATR -2024) recently concluded in Cape Town, South Africa.

The first-ever African Transport Research Conference (ATR-2024) brought together a wealth of interesting and relevant opportunities to advance transport research and solutions in and for Africa in a beautiful, world-class conference setting in Cape Town, South Africa.

The organiser, the Centre for Transport Studies of the University of Cape Town was in partnership with the Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF).

The conference which was opened to researchers worldwide who work on African transport in their scholarly activities, held between Tuesday, 5th and Thursday, 7th March 2024, at the Graduate Business School, University of Cape Town, South Africa.

The Lagos State University delegates to the conference include : a former Dean, Lagos State University School of Transport and Logistics, Professor Samuel Gbadebo Odewumi (Transport),

The delegates, all received full sponsorship based on the quality of research submitted for the conference.
