Lagos Set for 19th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security With Governor Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State Government has announced that the 19th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor will hold on Thursday, 11 December 2025, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island.

The event, organised by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF will focus on the theme: “Building Trust, Enhancing Security: A New Era of Security and Partnerships.”

It is expected to bring together key stakeholders, security agencies, policymakers, and private-sector partners to review the state’s security architecture and chart new strategies for strengthening public safety.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is scheduled to lead discussions at the forum, which has become a crucial platform for evaluating security challenges and highlighting the administration’s investments in modern security infrastructure across the state.

According to LSSTF, this year’s edition will focus on deepening collaboration between government, citizens, and private-sector players, with particular emphasis on fostering trust and expanding partnerships to enhance Lagos’ evolving security landscape.

The meeting will commence at 11:00 a.m., with participation strictly by invitation. A live stream of the proceedings will be available on LSSTF and Lagos State Government official social media channels to ensure wider public engagement.

LSSTF continues to play a pivotal role in equipping security agencies, supporting surveillance initiatives, and driving innovations aimed at sustaining the state’s reputation as one of the safest commercial hubs in Africa.
