JMG Limited has marked the 2026 World Creativity and Innovation Day by showcasing a range of projects aimed at addressing real-world challenges through engineering innovation.
The company said its initiatives align with this year’s theme, “Harnessing Creativity for Global Progress,” emphasizing its commitment to delivering practical solutions that improve lives and drive industrial growth.
As part of its 2025 interventions, JMG installed a solar hybrid power system at the Agboyi Ketu Primary Health Care Centre, ensuring uninterrupted electricity for essential services such as emergency care, maternity, immunisation, and diagnostics.
Across the industrial sector, the firm also recorded significant milestones. In partnership with Lambert Electromec, JMG delivered advanced cooling solutions for parts of West Africa’s largest data centre, supporting critical digital infrastructure.
The company further disclosed that its solar installations at NIPCO Plc fuel stations are generating estimated annual savings of ₦44.4 million, while an air compressor upgrade at the Dangote Cement plant improved operational efficiency.
In Kano, JMG completed a power and cooling upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, enhancing both business performance and customer experience.
Speaking on the company’s approach, Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said innovation must go beyond ideas to deliver tangible impact.
“It’s not enough to build systems; those systems must improve lives,” she said.
The World Creativity and Innovation Day, established by the United Nations, celebrates the role of creative thinking in advancing sustainable development and shaping a better future.
JMG reiterated its commitment to engineering solutions across power generation, electrical infrastructure, vertical transportation, cooling systems, and clean energy, including solar and hybrid technologies, as it continues to expand its footprint in Nigeria’s industrial landscape.
