The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation for successful candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the Service.
The exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, NCCSC, Gwagwalada, Abuja, with candidates expected to report on the dates allocated to their respective states and cadres.
The Service said attendance at the screening and documentation exercise is compulsory, warning that candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled dates may be disqualified from the recruitment process.
Shortlisted candidates are required to present the originals and photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN), Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, and educational certificates, including O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications.
Candidates are also expected to provide a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form and an NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The NCS directed candidates to appear for the exercise in a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes.
According to the Service, candidates who successfully complete the physical screening and documentation will receive further instructions on the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The NCS, under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, and his management team, reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment exercise.
The Service urged candidates and members of the public to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for authentic information concerning the recruitment process and to be wary of unofficial information or misleading claims.
