Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, has called on residents and stakeholders in the tourism, entertainment, and hospitality sectors to embrace the New Year with renewed hope, unity, and a shared commitment to progress.

In a New Year message, the Commissioner expressed gratitude for the achievements recorded across the tourism, entertainment, and hospitality industries in the past year, describing the milestones as a product of collective creativity, resilience, and collaboration rather than individual accomplishments.

She noted that the progress made reflects the dedication of industry practitioners, creatives, investors, and partners who continue to contribute to the growth and global appeal of Lagos State.

Mrs. Benson-Awoyinka urged stakeholders to sustain the momentum in 2026 by working together to spread joy, optimism, and innovation, while strengthening Lagos’ position as a leading cultural, tourism, and entertainment destination.

She further reaffirmed the commitment of the Lagos State Government to supporting initiatives that enhance the sector, promote cultural expression, and drive economic growth.

The Commissioner wished residents and visitors a prosperous, fulfilling, and successful New Year, expressing optimism that 2026 will usher in greater opportunities and achievements for Lagos State.
