Ogun Police Announce Screening for Constable Recruitment

Ogun State Police Command has announced that physical and credential screening for applicants seeking recruitment as General Duty and Specialist Constables into the Nigeria Police Force will hold from March 9 to April 18, 2026.

According to the Command, the exercise will take place daily from 7:00 a.m. at the POWA Hall, Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, and is specifically for Ogun State indigenes who successfully completed the online registration process.

The screening will be conducted by officers of the Nigeria Police Force in collaboration with personnel of the Police Service Commission (PSC).

Applicants are advised to log on to the official recruitment portal to confirm their screening dates and print required documents ahead of the exercise.

They are expected to appear at the venue on the date indicated on their invitation slip with all mandatory documents, including NIN printout or card, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, certificate of origin, and duly completed guarantor’s form. Specialist applicants are also required to present relevant trade certificates.

Candidates must submit both original and duplicate copies of their credentials neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached. They are also required to appear in white T-shirts, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings.

The Command stressed that the recruitment and screening exercise is completely free of charge and will be conducted strictly on merit. Members of the public were urged to report any individual or group demanding payment in connection with the process.
