As the world celebrates World Engineering Day 2026, JMG Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation and sustainability through smart engineering solutions.
Commemorating this year’s theme, “Smart Engineering for a Sustainable Future through Innovation and Digitalisation,” the company said engineering remains central to powering industries, healthcare systems, factories and urban infrastructure across Nigeria.
JMG provides integrated electro-mechanical solutions spanning power generation, solar power, electrical infrastructure, air compressors, cooling systems, elevators and escalators, services it described as critical to building efficient and sustainable environments.
Speaking on the significance of the day, the Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said engineering goes beyond machines and systems to delivering measurable impact.
“Smart engineering enables businesses to operate efficiently, cities to function reliably, and communities to grow sustainably. Through innovation and digitalisation, we are redefining how energy is generated, managed, and optimised across Nigeria,” he stated.
The company noted that sustainability has been a major focus since 2018, with increased investment in renewable and hybrid energy solutions. Its product portfolio includes Lithion and Livfast inverters and batteries, as well as LONGi solar panels, Deye lithium batteries and Must solar inverters introduced to expand cleaner energy alternatives.
According to JMG, these innovations support affordable and clean energy access while contributing to the development of more sustainable communities.
The firm described World Engineering Day as both a celebration of progress and a renewed commitment to advancing digital transformation and delivering long-term value across Nigeria’s industrial landscape.
