Lagos HoS Presents Appointment Letter to LSSTF ES/CEO Ogunsan

The Lagos State Government has formally confirmed the appointment of Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, following the presentation of his official appointment letter by the Lagos State Head of Service.

At a brief ceremony held on Monday, March 2, 2026, the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, presented the letter to Dr. Ogunsan, describing the move as a reinforcement of the administration’s confidence in his leadership capacity.

Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment was earlier approved by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, with effect from October 31, 2025.

Speaking during the presentation, Agoro commended the LSSTF boss for what he described as impressive performance within his first 100 days in office.

He noted that under Ogunsan’s leadership, the Fund has intensified support for security agencies across the state through the provision of patrol vehicles, logistics, and operational equipment, as well as improved inter-agency collaboration.

He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening the LSSTF’s mandate of mobilising resources and providing critical support to security agencies to enhance safety across Lagos.

In his remarks, Dr. Ogunsan expressed appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Government for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to further scale up security-focused innovations and partnerships, particularly with the private sector, to ensure a safer and more resilient Lagos.

The formal confirmation signals what officials describe as an accelerated phase of security interventions and strategic reforms aimed at consolidating gains in the state’s security architecture.
