Long known as one of West Africa’s biggest culinary gatherings, the GTCO festival is returning with a festive twist, bigger flavours, brighter lights, a Christmas Village, and enough sensory overload to make any foodie’s heart skip a beat.

Out of more than 4,000 applicants, 203 food vendors made the cut, all receiving free stalls to unleash their culinary magic. From street food favourites to gourmet experiments, the selection promises to be one of the most diverse lineups the festival has ever curated.
GTCO’s Group CEO, Segun Agbaje, says the holiday edition reflects the organisation’s mission to spotlight Africa’s rich culinary heritage while giving small businesses room to thrive.
“The festival has become a showcase for enterprise, creativity and the continent’s culinary excellence,” Agbaje noted, adding that the holiday edition doubles down on supporting food entrepreneurs across the value chain.
To deepen the family-friendly mood, this year’s event features: a Christmas village with handcrafted gifts, festive treats and live entertainment, perfect for last-minute shoppers and lovers of holiday ambience.
A massive children’s zone packed with games, holiday characters, and interactive play areas designed to keep younger visitors immersed while parents explore the food stalls.
DJ-led sets and live performances featuring two Nigerian performers to headline the entertainment lineup, giving festivalgoers that unmistakable Lagos December energy.
Live demos & limited-edition food releases from top chefs to rising culinary talents, the kitchen arena will showcase some of the most exciting food trends this season.
