The Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe, Lagos, FUSTECH, has commenced undergraduate admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session, inviting applications from candidates seeking admission into its 34 approved pioneer degree programmes.
The admission follows the approval of the programmes by the National Universities Commission, NUC and the successful onboarding of the institution by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
In a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Kabiru Olawale Okugbesan, the university said applications were open to suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its 100-Level programmes.
Applicants must have scored at least 185 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected FUSTECH as their first choice.
Candidates who initially chose another institution are required to change their choice to FUSTECH through the JAMB CAPS portal.
They must also possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in subjects relevant to their chosen programmes, obtained in not more than one sitting.
The university is offering 34 programmes across five faculties: Computing and Informatics; Engineering; Health Professions; Management Sciences and Technology; and Science.
Candidates are required to complete the online screening form through the university’s website, www.fustech.edu.ng, after changing their institution of choice on JAMB CAPS where necessary.
They must also upload their verified O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
The university said applications would be processed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis, noting that available spaces were limited.
The deadline for applications is 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Candidates seeking further information may contact the Admissions Office through the university’s website, email admissions@fustech.edu.ng or telephone 09155230901.
FUSTECH said its academic environment would combine residential learning with research laboratories and specialised resource centres, with emphasis on theoretical knowledge, practical application, innovation and professional development.
