The University of Lagos, UNILAG has held the 2024 Media Parley at the Senate Lounge of the UNILAG Senate House to honour and recognise the efforts of the media practitioners in the growth and development of the Institution.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, who led other members of management and principal officers of the University to the media parley appreciated the journalists (from both prints, online, and electronics) for the partnership throughout the year and solicited a continuation in the New Year 2025.
Responding on behalf of media practitioners present at the event, the National Chairman of the Education Writers’ Association of Nigeria, EWAN, Mr. Mojeed Alabi appreciated the management of UNILAG for the open door which the media have enjoyed over the years.
Alabiu reassured the Institution’s management of the media’s resoluteness as both watchdog and partner in progress.
