Rite Foods Wins Global Award for Food and Beverage Brand

Rite Foods Limited has won the Best Foods and Beverage Brand, Nigeria 2026 award at the Global Brand Awards held in Dubai on October 2, adding to the recognition of indigenous Nigerian brands in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

The award, organised by UK-based Global Brands Magazine, recognises brands for innovation, quality, market performance and consumer engagement.

Rite Foods said the recognition reflected its investments in product development, manufacturing and consumer-focused initiatives.

Its product portfolio includes 13 variants of Bigi carbonated soft drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink in five flavours, Fearless Energy Drink in Classic and Red Berry variants, Rite Spicy Sausage Roll, Bigi Beef Sausage Roll, Bigi Flex Sausage Roll and LIDA Malt.

The company manufactures its products at a fully automated facility equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure.

The award also follows the recognition of Rite Foods Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, as Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.

Adegunwa said the awards reflected the company’s commitment to innovation, product quality and consumer satisfaction, as well as the efforts of its employees, partners and customers.

He added that indigenous Nigerian businesses could compete internationally by prioritising manufacturing excellence, innovation and long-term value creation.

Rite Foods has also pursued consumer engagement through entertainment partnerships, sports development, youth empowerment and community development initiatives. Its Bigi brand has established a presence in Nigeria’s carbonated soft drinks market, while its Fearless Energy Drink was introduced in PET bottles as part of the company’s product innovation efforts.

The company said it would continue to expand its product portfolio and improve consumer experience as it seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of Nigerian-made brands.
