Rite Foods Limited has been honoured with the National Sustainability Achievement Awards 2026 in recognition of its commitment to sustainable manufacturing, product innovation, environmental stewardship and responsible corporate leadership.
The company received the award after the Awards Technical Committee selected it in the categories of Best Food Processing Carbonated Drink Formulation and Clean Energy Company of the Year 2026.
The National Sustainability Achievement Awards, organised by ESG Impact Consulting Limited, recognise organisations that demonstrate measurable commitment to sustainability by balancing business growth with environmental responsibility and social impact.
According to the organisers, recipients are assessed based on key performance indicators, including environmental stewardship, impact and contributions to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Rite Foods said the recognition reflects its sustained investment in world-class manufacturing, advanced technology, energy-efficient operations, product quality and environmentally responsible business practices.
The company noted that sustainability remains central to its operations, guiding its production processes, resource management, innovation and stakeholder engagement.
Reacting to the award, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, described the recognition as an endorsement of the company’s commitment to creating value for consumers while protecting the environment.
“This recognition inspires us to continue raising the bar in responsible manufacturing, innovation and sustainable business practices. At Rite Foods, sustainability is not simply an initiative; it is a guiding principle that shapes our operations, our investments and our vision for the future,” he said.
Adegunwa reaffirmed the company’s commitment to investing in cleaner technologies, resource efficiency, operational excellence, environmental sustainability and community-focused initiatives that create long-term value.
The latest recognition further strengthens Rite Foods’ reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous food and beverage manufacturers committed to innovation, quality and sustainable value creation.
The company recently received the Best Foods and Beverage Brand Award at the Global Brands Awards organised by the United Kingdom-based Global Brands Magazine.
The sustainability award also follows Adegunwa’s recognition as Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods industry.
