The Lagos State Police Command has received a delegation from the Police Officers’ Wives Association, POWA, Lagos State chapter, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening support for policing efforts in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Tijani Olaiwola Fatai, hosted the POWA Chairperson, Oluwakemi Tijani, alongside other members of the association at the Command Headquarters in Lagos.
During the visit, the POWA Chairperson reaffirmed the association’s commitment to supporting the Command’s efforts to enhance security across the state.

She noted that the association remains dedicated to supporting police officers on the home front, a role she said contributes significantly to boosting morale and improving effectiveness in the discharge of their duties.
The engagement highlights the importance of collaboration between the police and support groups in strengthening security operations and promoting the welfare of officers in Lagos.
