Polaris Bank Targets Faster, More Responsive Customer Service

Polaris Bank says it is strengthening customer service across its physical and digital channels as it prepares to mark the 2026 Customer Service Week from October 5 to 9.

The bank said this year’s theme, “The Extra Mile,” reflects its focus on improving customer experience through faster issue resolution, clearer communication, simpler processes and more responsive service.

According to the bank, the commitment extends across its branch and business network, contact centre and digital banking platform, VULTe, with the aim of providing customers with a consistent experience regardless of how they engage with the bank.

The Managing Director/CEO of Polaris Bank, Kayode Lawal, said customer feedback, trust and partnership remained central to the bank’s growth, adding that the annual celebration provides an opportunity to reinforce the importance of going beyond customers’ expectations.

As part of the 2026 activities, the bank said it would engage customers and recognise employees who demonstrate exceptional service through activities across its branches, digital channels and other customer touchpoints.

It will also use the celebration to gather customer feedback and strengthen the link between customer insights and service improvement.

The bank said its customer service focus had evolved through successive Customer Service Week campaigns, with themes including “Dream Team” in 2020, “Team Service” in 2023 and “Mission: Possible” in 2025.

Polaris Bank also cited its recognition in the 2022 KPMG Customer Experience Survey, where it was reported as the most improved bank in the retail segment, moving five places to sixth position.

The bank said its objective is to make exceptional service an everyday practice rather than an annual initiative, with every customer interaction providing an opportunity to improve responsiveness, demonstrate care and create value.
