Lagos Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has taken actions aimed at strengthen the collaborative support between the Command and the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF.

This came to the fore when the Comptroller of NIS Lagos Command, Bala Aliyu Dangana ppc, fnse paid a Thank You visit to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) Head Office, in Alausa area of the State.

The Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun stated that the Comptroller of Immigration, Dangana was at the office on a courtesy visit to also examine the issue of passport issuance and the ease of doing business particularly on the borders for people to come seamlessly which would help people to come in for trade, tourism, and business.’

LSSTF Board Member, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan who was also present during the visit, appreciated the Comptroller, saying: “Our desire is to see the excellent traits, comportment, attributes and qualities that we see in senior officers replicated at among your field staff.

Your officers that interact with the public must be well trained so the image of the service will continually be portrayed in good light. We look forward to more interactions with you.”

In his response, the Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Lagos, Bala Aliyu Dangana thanked the Board of Trustees, Management and Staff of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).

“I really appreciate everything you have said here. Your observations are on point and we all agree that we are working on it.

We are praying for our Minister to come out of the situation he is not because since he came, we are seeing massive change and reformations.”
