The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA has announced plans to host the 11th edition of the Noiseless Lagos Summit as part of ongoing efforts to tackle noise pollution and promote a healthier urban environment.
The summit is scheduled to hold on May 12, 2026, at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja, with proceedings set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
With the theme, “Advancing Sound Control and Technology in an Emerging Smart City,” the event is expected to bring together stakeholders across government, technology, environmental management, and urban planning sectors to discuss innovative solutions for noise control in a rapidly growing city.
LASEPA said the summit will focus on leveraging modern technology and policy frameworks to address the increasing challenges of noise pollution, particularly in a megacity like Lagos.
As part of activities lined up for the event, free hearing tests will also be offered to participants, highlighting the health implications of prolonged exposure to excessive noise.
The Noiseless Lagos Summit is part of LASEPA’s broader advocacy campaign aimed at raising awareness, strengthening enforcement, and encouraging public compliance with environmental noise regulations across the state.
