Lagos State Commences Second Phase of Screening Test for Model Colleges Admission

Lagos Begins E-Registration, Payment for 2026 UBE by CAS, Placement Test

The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced the commencement of the second phase of its screening test for the admission of primary six pupils into the state’s model colleges and upgraded junior secondary schools with boarding facilities for the 2025–2026 academic session.

The exercise, which is open to pupils from both public and private primary schools, will run from July 16 to August 16, 2025.

Successful applicants will gain entry into prestigious institutions such as Lagos State Model College, Meiran; Badagry Junior Grammar School, Badagry; Lagos State Model College, Ikorodu; Lagos State Model College, Kankon; and Epe Junior Grammar School, Epe, among others.

Vetland Junior Grammar School, Ifako-Ijaiye, is excluded from this year’s programme.

Director/Registrar of the Lagos State Examination Board, Mr. Orunsolu Adebayo said the entrance test will be conducted as a computer-based test on August 23, 2025, at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos.

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 and register online via examsboard.lagostate.gov.ng, following the stated guidelines.
