JMG Limited has completed three major engineering projects across Nigeria’s healthcare, manufacturing and aviation sectors in the second quarter of 2026.
The projects, executed through the company’s renewable energy, climate solutions and elevator divisions, are aimed at helping businesses reduce operating costs, improve productivity and support long-term growth.
One of the flagship projects involved the design and installation of a hybrid solar power system by JMG Solar at St. Catherine Specialist Hospital in Wuse 2, Abuja.
According to the company, the renewable energy solution now provides uninterrupted electricity for critical medical services while significantly reducing the hospital’s dependence on diesel-powered generators.
JMG said the facility has reduced its monthly diesel consumption by 50 per cent, from about 2,000 litres to 1,000 litres, resulting in savings of approximately ₦14 million on diesel purchases within four months.
The company noted that monthly energy costs have also declined by about ₦2 million, while the system is projected to generate more than 133 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually and prevent over 53,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year.
In the manufacturing sector, JMG Clima, the company’s climate solutions division and authorised dealer of Trane products in Nigeria, upgraded the cooling infrastructure at the corporate facility of one of Nigeria’s leading snack manufacturers.
Following an assessment of the client’s operational needs, the company deployed a high-efficiency Trane heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system designed to enhance cooling performance, improve indoor air quality, increase operational reliability and reduce long-term maintenance requirements.
JMG also expanded its footprint in the aviation sector through its elevator division by completing the installation and maintenance support of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport.
The project comprises 12 elevators and four escalators aimed at improving passenger movement, accessibility and operational efficiency within the airport terminal.
The company disclosed that following the successful completion of the installation, the airport approved an additional three TK Elevator units, bringing the total number of installations at the facility to 19.
