Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Olohundare Jimoh, has decorated 80 newly promoted officers serving within the Command with their new ranks.
The officers were elevated from Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police II, ASP II.
In his address, CP Jimoh congratulated the officers, describing the promotion as recognition of their dedication, hard work, and professionalism.
He emphasized discipline, respect for human rights, and community-oriented policing, urging them to see their elevation as a call to greater responsibility and renewed commitment, noting that the reward for hard work is more work.
The CP also expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission for their commitment to motivating officers through timely promotions, stating that such initiatives boost morale and enhance service delivery.
