Flexmobile Nears Launch, Targets Disruption in Nigeria’s Telecom Market

A new entrant is set to shake up Nigeria’s telecom space as Flexmobile, a brand from Hazon Technologies, moves closer to its commercial debut, pending final regulatory approval from the Nigerian Communications Commission.

The company confirmed that key commercial agreements with its Mobile Virtual Network Enabler, MVNE, IMBIL, and Airtel Nigeria have been concluded, positioning the brand for a planned market entry on June 1, 2026.

Speaking at a media briefing, Group CEO Victor ‘Gbenga Afolabi described the upcoming launch as a significant milestone aimed at redefining how Nigerians experience telecom services.

“What lies ahead is more than a launch, it is the beginning of a new way to experience telecoms in Nigeria,” he said, noting that the brand has spent years building partnerships and infrastructure to support its entry.

Flexmobile is expected to roll out with a new 081 number series and a product ecosystem focused on flexibility, data-driven services, and enhanced user control, reflecting shifting consumer demands in an increasingly digital economy.

Although full product details are yet to be unveiled, the company hinted at value-added services that extend beyond traditional voice and data offerings, positioning the platform at the intersection of telecoms and digital lifestyle solutions.

With growing anticipation ahead of its debut, Flexmobile is entering the market with ambitions not just to compete, but to redefine the telecom experience in Nigeria.
