The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Adedotun Keshinro, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The conferment took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, during an investiture ceremony held at the Centre in Abuja, where Keshinro was honoured alongside senior military officers and other distinguished professionals.
The recognition aligns with the vision of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to develop officers capable of representing the Corps effectively within Nigeria’s evolving security architecture at both national and international levels.
Reacting to the honour, Keshinro expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in Lagos and other capacities within the Corps, attributing the achievement to the support of the NSCDC leadership and his team in the state.
He also commended officers and management staff of the Lagos Command for their contributions, describing them as instrumental to the successes recorded under his administration.
Reaffirming his commitment to duty, the Commandant pledged to intensify efforts toward tackling infrastructure vandalism and other criminal activities across Lagos State.
Keshinro added that the recognition would serve as further motivation to strengthen operational efficiency and contribute meaningfully to national security, noting that “the reward for hard work is more work.”
