LSSTF Boss Ogunsan Hails Tinubu at 74, Describes Him as ‘Architect of National Renewal’

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has paid glowing tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as “an architect of national renewal.”

In a statement marking the President’s birthday, Ogunsan commended Tinubu’s leadership, noting that his administration’s policy decisions have reshaped Nigeria’s economic, governance, and security landscape.

He specifically highlighted the removal of fuel subsidy, describing it as “an act of uncommon political will” that has helped dismantle long-standing fiscal challenges while redirecting national priorities toward sustainability and accountability.

Ogunsan also praised the unification of the foreign exchange system, which he said has improved transparency and strengthened investor confidence in Nigeria’s financial ecosystem. He further pointed to increased national revenues and a narrowing fiscal deficit as signs of disciplined economic management.

According to him, these reforms reflect a leadership willing to take difficult but necessary decisions to secure long-term stability for the country.

Beyond economic policies, the LSSTF boss acknowledged the administration’s social investment programmes, noting that they demonstrate a balance between reform and compassion by providing support for vulnerable Nigerians.

Ogunsan also referenced the President’s growing international recognition, citing engagements with global leaders and recent state visits to countries such as the United Kingdom and Turkey as indicators of Nigeria’s rising global relevance.

He further described Tinubu as a leader committed to mentoring others, noting his long-standing influence in shaping political leaders, public office holders, and professionals across various sectors.

“As a leader, he has consistently raised and inspired others to achieve excellence across governance, business, and public service,” Ogunsan said.

He concluded by saluting the President’s enduring legacy, stating that his leadership continues to inspire confidence, rekindle hope, and strengthen Nigeria’s path toward a more secure and resilient future.
