Promasidor Nigeria Felicitates Muslims at Ramadan

As Muslims across Nigeria prepare to commence the holy month of Ramadan, Promasidor Nigeria has extended warm greetings to the Muslim community, wishing them a spiritually fulfilling period marked by devotion, reflection and compassion.

In a statement, the fast moving consumer goods company said Ramadan represents a sacred period of fasting, prayer and self discipline, offering an opportunity to deepen values of empathy, generosity and unity.

The company noted that its corporate values align with the essence of the season, particularly in promoting care, responsible living and mindful nourishment.

The Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, said proper nutrition remains essential for observing the fast in good health and spiritual balance.

According to him, the company’s brands are designed to support families with quality nourishment that sustains strength and resilience throughout the fasting period.

He highlighted the company’s portfolio of brands including Cowbell, Loya, Onga, Kremela, Miksi, Twisco and Top Tea, noting that they are tailored to meet the evolving dietary needs of Nigerian households and promote everyday vitality.

Beyond product offerings, the company reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s food security through local production initiatives. It cited its backward integration project at the Ikun Dairy Farm in Ikun Ekiti, Ekiti State, as part of efforts to boost the country’s dairy value chain and promote sustainable milk production.

Described as the largest dairy farm in Nigeria, the facility houses over 750 high yielding cattle and provides direct employment for more than 200 people while creating over 1,000 indirect jobs within its host community.

Promasidor Nigeria said it remains committed to supporting Nigerian families during Ramadan and beyond by delivering trusted nutrition and promoting shared values that foster national unity and wellbeing.
