Wema Bank–Powered Davido 5ive Tour

Wema Bank has drawn massive national attention after over 80,000 fans stormed four stops of the Nigerian leg of Davido’s 5ive Tour.

The bank, which is the major sponsor of the Nigerian tour, has so far powered shows in Uyo, Yola, Enugu and Ibadan, attracting record-breaking attendance and marking what organisers describe as the biggest studio album tour ever held in Africa.

The 5ive Tour, launched earlier in 2025 to commemorate the release of Davido’s fifth studio album, returned to Nigeria on October 14, 2025, following several successful international stops.

Davido announced that the homecoming leg would be executed in partnership with Wema Bank, his long-time financial partner.

Wema Bank, in a show of scale and influence, transformed each host city with high-energy fan experiences, exclusive customer access, premium merchandise giveaways and a strong display of youth-focused brand engagement.

The four-city activation also spanned all major regions of the country, which the bank says reflects its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The collaboration has drawn widespread praise from fans and entertainment stakeholders, many of whom have highlighted the partnership as a model for how financial institutions can intersect with music, culture and lifestyle.

According to the bank, the synergy between Davido and Wema Bank has “redefined the possibilities for finance-entertainment collaborations,” further cementing its appeal among young Nigerians.

Attention now shifts to December 14, 2025, when the tour continues with a highly anticipated Abuja concert. Wema Bank announced that fans seeking free tickets or exclusive Davido 5ive Tour merchandise can follow its social media platforms as the #Wema5iveAliveTour rolls on.
