Blacktalker Media Network has announced a strategic media partnership with the Communication Students’ Representative Council, CSRC of Lagos State University, LASU for the official launch of the first printed edition of the COSA-LASU Constitution.

The unveiling is scheduled to take place during the 7th edition of the Communication Parliamentary Summit (CPS 7.0), which will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Hallowed Chamber, Arcade, LASU. The event begins at 10:00 a.m.

This year’s summit, themed “Media’s Impact on Politics in the Digital Age: Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions,” is expected to draw students, academics, media professionals, and governance advocates to discuss the evolving role of media in shaping political landscapes in a digital era.

Speaking on the partnership, Adewale Olowoporoku, Team Lead at Blacktalker Media Network, described the collaboration as a continuation of the platform’s dedication to spotlighting student-led initiatives and issues within the education sector.

“This partnership is part of our broader mandate to amplify the voices and experiences of students, especially in tertiary institutions like LASU. We aim to highlight their milestones, challenges, and contributions to national development,” Olowoporoku stated.

The Communication Parliamentary Summit is the flagship annual event of the CSRC and serves as a platform for dialogue among communication students, media stakeholders, and policymakers.

This year’s edition will also feature the landmark launch of the COSA-LASU Constitution, a foundational document for student governance within the Department of Communication Studies.
